In 2023, 30.8 million people are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, accounting for more than half, or 51 percent, of the eligible Medicare population. Medicare Advantage plans are under scrutiny for their sales tactics and coverage; however, most beneficiaries said they are satisfied with their health plans. However, many beneficiaries reported issues with telehealth services, overbilling, and online and mobile app access.
