Will Medicare cost You and if so How Much?

Even though Medicare Part A (the part that covers the cost of inpatient services) does not require additional premium; it may still cost you if you use the benefit. You will be responsible for the first $1,288, after which Medicare will begin to pay.  If your inpatient facility stay is longer than 61 days, however, you will be charged $322 per day.  After 90 days, it will cost you $644 per day.
