UnitedHealth, Amedisys complete merger

UnitedHealth Group has completed its acquisition of home health and hospice provider Amedisys in a deal valued at $101 per share in cash.

The transaction, which closed on Aug. 14, makes Amedisys a wholly owned subsidiary of UnitedHealth and removes its stock from Nasdaq trading, according to regulatory filings. Continue reading here…
