Covering the Bases: Enrolling in Medicare and paying the premiums

I am turning 65 this year, and I plan on enrolling into Medicare. When and how do I enroll? How do I pay my monthly Part B premiums since I don’t plan on drawing a Social Security check until I am 66?

To enroll into Medicare, you need to contact the Social Security Administration. The easiest way to enroll is online at www.ssa.gov. You may also contact Social Security by phone at 1-800-772-1213. You also have the option of enrolling in person at your local Social Security office. Read more…
