More Efficient –Not More Government Spending In Healthcare
In a recent study by Yale University public health Professor Elizabeth Bradley, is urging more efficient not more government spending on healthcare. They found the states that had the highest ratios of social service and public health spending relative to medical costs; the resident of those states were much healthier. She also states community groups, businesses and churches should join the state and local government to better provide residents with services including housing, transportation, nutrition support and job training – “failing to do so can increase what everyone pays in taxes and on health care.” Read article here…
