Delay in Terminating Medicare Advantage Contracts

A bill introduced by Reps. Pat Tiberi (R-OH) and Jim McDermott (D-WA); Helping Hospitals Improve Patient Care Act of 2016, would delay for three years the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid’s authority to terminate Medicare Advantage contracts for those plans with bottom-of-the-barrel quality scores.
