Court Ordered Drug Coverage

Federal District Court Judge John Coughenour ordered the state of Washington to lift restrictions on coverage of the very pricey hepatitis C treatment in that state’s Medicaid program. The judge wrote in his view, “the evidence establishes that there is a consensus among medical experts and providers that the life-saving drugs are medically necessary.” Read article here…..
