The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration head, Chuck Rosenberg, advised a U.S. Senate committee due to the “clunky and cumbersome” process off separately banning these new synthetic designer drugs like fentanyl; it is causing the threat for U.S. overdoses and deaths to continue to spiral.
