Are You Prepared for the Cost of Long-Term Care?

One-third of all Americans over the age of 40 have done no planning to cover the cost of long term care assuming that Medicare will pick up the cost. However, after the first 100 days, Medicare will no longer pay for long-term care leaving the patient responsible to pay the entire bill which could be in excess of $77,000 a year.
