CRISPR Up for Federal Review

University of Pennsylvania is waiting for federal approval for a proposed experiment that would remove certain cells of the immune system, called T cells, from cancer patients, genetically modify the T cells then return them to the patient so they target and destroy myeloma, melanoma and sarcoma tumor cells.
