Prosthetic leg users worry about proposed Medicare changes

Medicare cuts could negatively effect current, and future, prosthetic leg users. Lisa Moore’s son Damian was born with a short femur. “His foot on his left leg sits about where his knee is on his right leg. From the knee down his leg is normal he just has a very short femur. So he wears a prosthetic that his foot slips down into,” Moore said. “He does have a foot that allows him to be active with his activity level, but that’s something that would definitely change with these changes.” Read more…
