Legislators call on Washington to support telemedicine

The future of medicine might involve a lot less time in the doctor’s office, and local legislators are trying to help that process along. Telemedicine is a growing field of practice using video chat, remote diagnostic and other techniques that allow physicians to meet with, diagnose and in some cases treat patients remotely.
