Project ECHO uses telemedicine to help rural remote providers

Project ECHO (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) uses telemedicine to help rural and remote providers learn from specialist to manage care for their complex patients. The basic model provides telemedicine links from primary care providers, clinics and federally qualified health centers who participate in teleECHO clinics to an academic medical center or large health system.
