Project ECHO pilot program in Florida and California to improve care for patients with Type 1 diabetes
With a $1.6 million grant from the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, the University of Florida Diabetes Institute will use Project ECHO, a telemedicine platform, in an 18-month pilot to counsel primary care providers in Florida and California on how to treat patients with diabetes.
