Demands for healthcare workers is outpacing availability

A new study for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation found the shortage between open positions and available health care practitioners is 44 percent, the most severe supply-demand mismatch. Another study from LeadingAge found that the United States would need 2.5 million more long-term care workers by 2030 to meet the demands of an aging population. Read article here…
