MedPAC recommends slashing Medicare payments to home health agencies

The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission is recommending Congress slash Medicare payments to companies that provide home health services. In the most recent MedPAC report, it states the average profit margin home health companies made 15.5 percent profit on Medicare; however, the home health industry states the margins are closer to two percent.
