Diabetics are skipping medical care due to costs

According to a new survey, 45 percent of diabetics reported having sometimes gone without care for their disease because they could not afford it. Last week, the American Medical Association called for federal intervention to protect diabetics from being exploited by price gouging on insulin products and market competition to protect consumers.
