Insurers, PMBs will be able to negotiate prices for drugs paid by Medicare Part B

The Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said, starting next year Medicare Advantage plans will get new powers to bargain over drugs administered in doctor’s offices or hospitals. The treatments subject to the change include infusions for rheumatoid arthritis, eye injections to treat certain conditions as well as some cancer therapies. Read article here…
