Civica Rx, the generic drug company launched by seven hospitals to prevent shortages and reduce costs
A coalition of six hospitals reported in January 2018, that they would launch a generic drug company to address drug shortages and the high cost of lifesaving medications. Civica RX, is financially supported by the seven hospitals, as well as three philanthropies, and will produce 14 drugs that are frequently in shortage and rising in price. Read article here…
