Expanded drug rebate program to consumers

UnitedHealth, the country’s largest health insurer, announced it would expand a program that passes drug manufacturer rebates directly to consumers starting in 2020. According to Unitedhealth, the trial program that started in January 1, 2019 so far has resulted in an average of $130 per eligible prescription. Read article here…
