Medicare Advantage premiums dropped during latest enrollment period

According to a new report from eHealth, Medicare Advantage (MA) and Part D applications were up 87 percent during the open enrollment period between January and March compared to the same period last year. During the first three months of this year, the average Medicare Advantage premium dropped 33 percent and the average out-of-pocket limits decreased by 11 percent.
