Some Medicare beneficiaries will have more opportunities to elect personal supports and services for 2020

Medicare’s Annual Election period also called the Medicare Fall Open Enrollment period or Fall Annual Enrollment Period for 2020 begins on Oct. 15 and runs through December 7, during which Medicare beneficiaries will have more opportunities to join Medicare Advantage (MA) managed care plans that offer limited personal supports and services such as home care, non-medical transportation, nutrition programs, and home modifications.  Medicare participants will pay no additional premiums for the additional benefits, nor will Medicare pay the plans extra money to run the programs.
