Health care costs keep rising faster than wages and inflation

According to a recent report form the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF), health care costs are growing at a faster rate than wages or inflation. The report points out that employer-sponsored health insurance rose five percent to an average of $20,576 this year; however, premiums have cumulatively up 54 percent over the past decade, while deductibles have skyrocketed 162 percent whereas, wages and inflation have cumulatively increased 26 percent and 20 percent.
