Care Ecosystem improving the quality of life of Alzheimer’s patients

With the greater awareness in the U.S. and the world about the increasing number of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, a great deal has been learned about the emotional and financial difficulties their family members endure as they struggle to care for their loved ones.  The Center for Memory and Aging at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is working to improve the quality of life of Alzheimer’s patients and their caregiver through its “Care Ecosystem” program.
