A few rules for signing up for Medicare if you are still working or returning to the workforce after age 65
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the share of people ages 65 to 74 still working in 2026 is projected to be 30.2 percent, up from 26.8 percent in 2016. If you are one of the older Americans still working after age 65 and have qualifying health insurance through a job, it could be a viable alternative to Medicare.
