We have been failing our frail seniors

As of April 23rd, there were more than 10,000 reported deaths from COVID-19 in long-term care facilities – in just the 23 states that publicly report this information. It may be shocking, but it should not be surprising. Howard Gleckman, senior fellow at the Urban Institute and senior contributor for Forbes, writes in his column: “Why are we so shocked by COVID-19 nursing home deaths?
