Medigap plan G saw a surge in enrollment of 39 percent in one year.

A new report from America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Center for Policy and Research found while most Medigap polices did not see much change in Medigap enrollment growth, an increasing number of beneficiaries enrolled in Medigap plans G and N from 2015 through 2018. The report also found that enrollees with Medigap had much less difficulty paying their medical bills, five percent; however, more than double (12 percent) of enrollees without Medigap voiced similar difficulties.  Read article here…
