Considering a Medicare supplement plan?
If you are a Medicare beneficiary and looking to buy a Medicare supplement or “Medigap” plan, most experts will tell you to look beyond the cost when choosing a plan. Medigap plans are sold by private insurance companies and generally cover part or most cost-sharing that comes with traditional Medicare. Also, they are standardized benefits across most states so you know the benefits are the same regardless of where you live or which insurance carrier is offering them.
