Government support for long-term care has strong public backing

The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research recently released their findings from a public opinion survey showing 63 percent of respondents say “government should support programs to help low-income people receive supports and services at home.” A majority of respondents favor government long-term care coverage through Medicare, and “60 percent favor a government-administered long-term care insurance program.” Read the article here…
