Medicare Advantage Premiums Becoming Less of a Concern?

Although increases in monthly premiums for Medicare Advantage plans are becoming more of the norm, it doesn’t seem to bother many plan subscribers. This conclusion is expressed in a post today by eHealth covered by benefitspro.com’s Dan Cook. Coupled with a smaller percentage of Medicare Advantage participants opting for zero-dollar premium plans, the eHealth post suggests that “Consumers’ willingness to pay more for a plan may indicate they understand that a higher premium payment may get them into a plan that costs them less over time.” Read the full report here
