Will Obamacare’s Birth Control Coverage Issue be Tied Up in a Supreme Court’s Voting Tie?

Today, Wednesday, March 23, 2016, the eight United States Supreme Court Justices will hear its fourth Obamacare-related case. The case involves religiously affiliated nonprofits being required to include contraceptive coverage in their health care plans.

Two years ago, when the Supreme Court heard the Hobby Lobby case that religiously oriented businesses could object to providing contraceptive coverage, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia voted (5-4) with the majority.  But now with the Supreme Court vacancy; there could be a tie vote, leaving the lower federal appeals courts’ rulings in place.  Read article here……
