Fourteen percent of U.S. has Kidney Disease, Costing Billions

A new report from University of Virginia’s Department of Public Health Sciences found chronic kidney disease affects nearly 14 percent of the United States and costing Medicare $81 billion ($31 billion for end-stage renal disease and $50 billion for chronic kidney disease) in 2013.
