Medicare is turning 60 soon
The Medicare program is turning 60 at the end of July (30th) and is still going. A recent survey of non-Medicare beneficiaries found that 80 percent of them are concerned that “Medicare would not exist by the time that they would be eligible for the program.” Although they liked the program, 34 percent did not want to raise taxes or reduce benefits to make sure that Medicare continued.
