Part D/Prescription Drugs

First set of Medicare-negotiated “maximum fair prices” Now In Effect

Now

Users of 10 popular prescription drugs could benefit from lower drug prices that took effect at the start of the New Year. The degree of cost saving that will filter down to Medicare Part D users remains to be seen, however, due to the complexities of drug pricing across various plans. The 10 drugs on the list are: Eliquis, Enbrel, Entresto, Farxiga, Imbruvica, Januvia, Jardiance, NovoLog/Fiasp, Stelara and Xarelto. The Center Square’s Morgan Sweeney discusses the new pricing in a post on dallasexpress.com.
