Englewood Doctor Allegedly Bilked Medicare, Insurance Out Of $280K, Authorities Say

A Bergen County doctor cost Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance approximately $280,000 due by falsifying patient records for years, authorities said Monday. Albert Ades, 60, of Englewood, pleaded guilty to health care fraud before U.S. District Judge Esther Salas in Newark federal Monday, said U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman. Ades allegedly billed Medicare, Medicaid, and various private insurance providers for patient office visits that, Fishman said, never occurred. Read more…
