Lack of price transparency online still persists
At a time when a growing number of consumers are turning to the Internet to make decisions on their health, the lack of price transparency online persists. Researchers used Google and Bing to check the cost of common health care services in eight cities and found of the 1,346 websites only 17 percent provided geographically relevant price information.
