Dallas-based EmCare and Lancaster, Pa.-based Physicians’ Alliance have agreed to settle allegations they received illegal kickbacks from now-defunct Health Management Associates in Naples, Fla., in exchange for referrals to hospitals owned by HMA, according to the Department of Justice.
