Scams and frauds targeting the elderly
In April, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will begin mailing out new Medicare cards that no longer show Social Security numbers. The purpose of the new cards is to help reduce identity theft and other types of scams and frauds committed with people on Medicare.
