Pricing disparities

According to recent the Congressional Budget Office analysis comparing prices of the 20 most common and costly physicians’ services paid by the three leading health insurance companies, found the prices the insurers paid for those services were between 11 percent and 139 percent higher than Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) prices.
