Key proposals in the Proposed Rule for Medicare Advantage and Part D for Year 2021 and 2022

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issues a proposed rule advancing multiple updates and changes to Medicare Advantage (MA) and Medicare prescription drug benefit (Part D) programs.  CMS is breaking with tradition and will not publish a “Call Letter” -an annual regulatory policy document that establishes payment and coverage policies for MA and Part D plans for the upcoming plan year- for MA and Part D programs in 2020.
