High Blood Pressure and When to Treat It?
We all agree that high blood pressure causes harm to the human body such as heart disease, stroke and kidney disease and we need to treat this with either lifestyle changes or drug therapy. The question is when should we treat it with drug therapy?
In the April 2nd edition of The New England Journal of Medicine, the results from the latest study called HOPE-3 showed evidence that blood pressure medications did work; however, it did leave some questions on when to start drug therapy. Read article here……
